How long for MS to process credit card refund?

I booked a stay for June 2012 using points. However, one night during our stay was not available on points and I gave my credit card to book that night on cash and waitlisted for the room on points. My waitlist came through a couple of days later (YAY!) but our credit card still hasn't been refunded the $300+ for that one night stay.

This waitlist came through the first week in January. I called MS and got a very unsure MS rep who had to put me on hold 2x to find out when I would get a refund. She said it would take 3-4 billing cycles! That's 3-4 months...I'm not insulting you, I know you can do the math...it's just that shocking to me.

Does this seem right? 3-4 months for a refund?

Ask for a supervisor or member satisfaction. Anytime I got a refund from Disney it was within a week.

I agree! My refund has always been less than a week. While not dealing with member services, I've often booked a regular Disney room with my one night deposit and if the waitlist comes through, I've cancelled and while the CM has always told me it might take the next billing cycle, it's always been about 3 days. There is something wrong. You need to call -- but not today, they are closed.
