Our family of 8 (ILs, BIL, 15 and 13 yo niece and nephew, DW, 9-week old DS, me) will be going to Disney in mid/late September, and staying in the Caribbean Beach Resort. On our last park day we will be doing Animal Kingdom and have a 5pm ADR at California Grill for a nice send-away dinner.
Given the dress code for CG and how hot it is likely to be (especially in AK), we're planning on going back to the resort to shower and change before going to dinner. We won't be renting a car, so will generally be relying on Disney transportation. However, since there's no easy way from CBR to CR using Disney transportation, we're planning on taking taxis to/from dinner.
So, my question: any idea about what time we should plan on leaving Animal Kingdom in order to make our ADR? It will obviously depend on how long people take to get ready, but if people have any sense of how much time we should give for just the logistics - walking to the buses at AK, waiting for the bus, waiting for taxis, getting to the restaurant - that would be fantastic. My assumption has been that there will likely be taxis waiting around the check-in area of the resort, but is that accurate? Also, if there's anything I'm not thinking of, or any way to make it simpler/faster, that would be great! TIA!
