How long for Crystal Palace?

I feel like the breakfast is normal to slow. Don't have dinner to compare it to.

It’s been my experience that most character meals are roughly 90 minutes. We have had lunch at crystal palace once I can’t remember how long it took but it doesn’t stand out to me as being quicker or slower than your average character meal at wdw.

We are actually going to try a late breakfast there on our upcoming trip.

I did Dinner back in 2016 on a MNSSHP night. I wasn't particularly prepared for the amount of time things would take and ended up running a little too close to when I wanted to get out and see the parade. Fortunately it wasn't an issue.

I remember us being seated, and getting food, and when they server came back to check on us, I let her know we were trying to make the Parade and so she had us settle the bill right then. We hit it perfectly that we got to see Pooh and the gang and were done in just under an hour.

That may not be typical if the Characters have JUST finished their rotation, but depending on what you want to see and what your priorities are you might be able to be in and out quickly, and still get some character interaction.

But if you don't want a rushed meal, plan for 90 minutes!

I would plan a minimum of 60 minutes. 90 minutes i probably more accurate if you want to see all the characters.
You could probably rush through faster, but then why spend the money for a character meal?

Depends on if meeting the characters is important to you. If it is, then as others have said above, 60-90 minutes after being seated.

If meeting the characters isn't important to you, then your family can easily be in and out of there in 30 minutes or so after being seated.

We haven't done a dinner there in years, but we occasionally do breakfast. Our son is past the age of giving a flip about characters anymore, so we can easily do a PPO breakfast there in 30 minutes.

We did breakfast at both Tusker House and Crystal Palace on our trip in October. We met all the characters and were out in less than an hour at both places. I couldn’t believe it. We didn’t feel rushed at all.

CP dinner is by far the longest meal in WDW (Akershus is a close 2nd). The venue is quite large and very popular. If you dont mind not having all the characters visit your table, then you could possibly be done in an hour. I would expect 90 minutes if you need to wait for every character to reach your table (the characters take breaks too). Also, that does not include the 20-ish minute wait just to be seated. They are always running a bit behind.

We were out in an hour seeing all the characters , pix but no autographs. Thanksgiving day. It was a ton of laughs, good food and great service. Enjoy.

We dined at Crystal Palace July 2018 and we were stunned at how quick everything was. We had an ADR, showed up a few minutes early and had to wait very briefly. Once we were sat, we got our drinks and then headed to the buffet. By the time we sat down, which must have been 1-2 minutes later, characters were already coming up to us. We saw all the characters basically back to back, maybe 5-6 min in between. We were done within an hour.

If we do dinner, how long should we allow for time?
I think this is a tough answer since it really depends on how much you eat, how long you wait to be seated and how fast the character interactions are. We had dinner there recently and if you include our wait time we were done inside of 60 min on a fairly busy night. The characters were moving pretty quick in rotation but I will add we do not really go back to much for seconds so we were done eating pretty quickly. Characters moved quick but I am sure this could vary based on many factors. I would allow 90 minutes minimum to be safe.
