My daughter got the fairy tale princess hairdo yesterday and her hair is, of course, still in the same exact place it was yesterday.

How long does everyone usually go before washing it out? The anal mom in me wants to wash it right now and get all the goop out, but the disney mom wants to let her leave it in as long as it will hold the shape.

My dd left hers in for 2 days. It was kinda nice, because I didn't have to do her hair at all the 2nd day, and it still looked cute. I took it down that night though and washed it all out ect. I'm not sure how long you could make it last, but hers lasted 2 days, no problem. We plan to do the same thing for our upcoming trip. I think she'd leave it in all week if she could:rotfl:

If you want to wash it out and your dd doesn't tell her she will need to if she wants to swim in the pool. I think we left my dd's in for 2 days. I watched the godmother in training and was able to do her hair the same way sans the hair gel/spray.

My daughter made it 3 days. We don't wash her hair everyday anyway so it wasn't an issue for us. It was fun even at the end of that time trying to get it down!

Both of my DDs wanted it out that night. They pull the bus tight and neither child wanted to sleep with it in.

I believe my daughters was in for 3 days as well. she was only 4 at the time so she was taking baths at the time and we just didn't wash her hair. Plus we were on the way home in the car.

My DD's hair looked the same at day 4, when I finally made her take OT down and we washed it out. I think they must use superglue or something mixed in that gel! :rotfl: It was nice not having to get up and do anything with her hair for a few days though! :thumbsup2

My 6 year old's princess bun only lasted the day, and by the end it was looking odd and floppy... It was drizzly to rainy the day she had it done and that may have made a difference. She didn't do anything crazy or play with it, so I really blame the weather. Also, the gel got flakey and looked really icky in her brown hair - imagine big white flaky chunks. BUT it was still adorable and after watching them do the bun we just did it ourselves a few more times during our trip!

We had it out that evening. but I was able to fix it the next day no problem.

My DD left hers in for 3 days, she would have left it longer but I made her take it out and wash her hair. :)
