How long does lunch at Be Our Guest take?

Hey guys. Our party of four just snagged 1:10 lunch reservations and already ordered our lunch online. Issue is we have a FastPass+ for Peter Pan's Flight from 1:20-2:20. As many of you know PPF is an almost impossible FastPass to snag and Be our Guest is equally challenging so very little chance of changing either. Question is how long is a typical lunch in BOG? I hate to rush but can we check in around 1:00 (or earlier) and hope to get in early? Also how far a walk is PPF from BOG? Finally I have heard that there is a five minute or so grace period for FastPasses so we can perhaps stretch and get there as late as 2:25? Bottom line should we keep the PPF FastPass? We will not be cancelling lunch at BOG. Thanks all!

I have read it is a 15 minute grace period on the end and sometimes they will let you in 5 minutes early on the beginning. I think they only let you check in about 5 minutes early at BoG and won't let you check in any earlier. if nothing goes wrong you should have plenty of time... but sometimes people have their food go lost. I would not wait more than 15 minutes without checking on where your food is and even if at worst it takes a half hour to resolve, with a half hour to eat you are still out of there at 2:10 and can make your peter pan FP+. It's tight but doable. If everything goes smoothly I think you have more than enough time, I would think 45 minutes would be enough. BoG and PP are not far away at all, 5 minutes should be plenty.

I think you will be fine. We checked in around 10 minutes early with no problems last month and received our food very quickly. The biggest thing was waiting to place our order. You may need to order online to speed things up.

We did order already online. Our visit is tomorrow so I'll update this thread how we do. Can anyone absolutely confirm that FastPasses do give a 15 minute grade period after the ending time? Thanks.

It's really CM discretion on that grace period.

Have you actually tried to change your Peter Pan? You won't lose the fast passes you have while you just check to see if there is on a little later. Instead of choosing afternoon make sure you choose a specific time because that will show you fast pass slots that don't always show up with a more general search. If it was me I'd really want to enjoy the bog experience instead of rushing through it. Pushing Peter Pan back just a little might give you a little breathing room

We didn't pre-order (my partner didn't want to plan that much!) and therefore we queued for over half an hour just to order. But with pre-orders we could have almost walked straight in. Then it took maybe 10 minutes for food to come to our table.

We have been trying to change both the PPF FastPasses and BOG time to no avail. No more Fastpasses available for PPF. We are on the way to MK now so I'll let everyone know how it went! :)

You'll be fine. Pre-order to avoid the potential lines that can back up for those who need to order. I think it's rare we've been there more than 45 minutes and Peter Pan isn't all that far away. We've also always found they've allowed at least that 15 minute window after the end of our FP although we don't try to count on it.

You will be fine since you pre-ordered! We have eaten there for lunch and pre-ordered and worked so nicely. We were planning on looking around the restaurant before we ate, but as we were sitting down, they actually brought our food over!

Have a magical time!

We've been in and out within 30-45 mins with pre ordering and it has also taken an hour+ before with pre ordering(we were seated right away however it took forever to get our food, people that came after us were getting theirs before we got ours) so it all depends. But your FP is from 1:20-2:20 so I would think you would be fine.

We use our meal times as relaxing times so would never rush - would rather not even eat! We are there usually about an hour. Have never waited more than 5-10 min. to get our food with pre ordering.
