Major shopping for bulk meats, poultry, and seafood is done every couple of months and everything is divided up in meal size portions and froze. I also shop weekly for a few pantry items and produce. It’s just the 2 of us so I don’t need much.

do you take advantage of seasonal/holiday specials and stock up? for example-i know that with memorial day coming up there will be deals on condiments/bbq stuff so i stock up for the entire summer.
costco in store every couple of months but i've found there are some items-in particular frozen-that i can only get from them online so i keep a running list until i hit the minimum amount to avoid shipping charges.
We grocery shop every Sunday morning. Getting over Covid so been quarantined for 2 weeks so we REALLY ran out supply of frozen and canned food down to almost nothing.
Try for once a month or two for household items and such
Pick up produce and dairy as needed
I try and go as long as possible and just keep a list - I put it off until I can’t put it off any further - so far I’ve made it almost 3 months but stocking back up was brutal
With the food stores a close 2 to 5 miles away, I shop as needed instead of stocking up and typically will bicycle to the stores 4 or more days a week. Only so much fits in the basket and exercise is import and the weather here in SW FL is most often great, SO why not shop a little bit at a time a bit more often.
