How long does Christmas decor stay up in January?

My wife and I would like to go to Disney around the first week or 2 of January. How are the crowds then and how long does the Christmas decorations, parades, fireworks, etc...stay

So does the Christmas Wishes and Very Merry Christmas Parade only apply during the MVMCP days in Nov and Dec?

What about the Jingle Jungle Parade at the AK?

these are the big ones we'd love to see in early Jan if possible... so would love to know if these are still around then.

looks like the Osborne Spectical of Lights and the Jingle Jungle Parade went through the 8th last year... I assume the Holiday Wishes fireworks where done before then?

We were able to see the Jingle Jungle Parade and Osborne lights last year, I think the osborne ended on 1/8. We have never seen the special fireworks in January, or the Christmas Parade. Our trips in January have been early 5-15th of the month.

Since we've never been able to see most of the Christmas stuff we are heading back in early Dec to do all of those. HTH!

We went from Jan 7-14 this year. By that time all of the resort decorations were down, they go down around the 5th. All parties and activities ended Dec 31. The parade at AK was back to the regular one by the 11th (our first day at AK), even though the website had claimed it being the Jingle parade the whole week. The park and DTD decorations were all still up when we arrived. Everything was gone when we left at the end of the week. It was very odd going to MK two days in a row, first had lots of decos and the next day had none. Everything had been taken down overnight. The final day for Osborne lights was Jan 8th, so we did manage to get there to see that.

It was wonderful being able to see some of the holiday magic, even if it was after the new year. It really made me want to make a trip in December one year! But we are doing Halloween this year, so maybe next year for Christmas!
