How long do you think it will take to add Frozen characters to princess meals?

I can't imagine permanently ousting Cinderella from her own castle. And I guess A & E makes some sense at Akershus, but it's Norway, not Arrendelle. And what they are curently doing at Akershus obviously works very well for Disney, so I'm not so sure they would be inclined to change it. I really have no basis for this, but I wonder if they might eventually put an A & E meal in HS. No princess meal there right now, right? And they are doing the Frozen summer special event there. . . . I don't know that it fits all that well thematically, but it would spread the princess thing to a less popular park.

I love that idea! HS only has one character meal and that's for the Disney Jr set. Would be great to have a Princess meal there.

The Princess meals tend to stay with the classic Princesses. Rapunzel and Tiana never appear regularly at a Princess meal at WDW. I would love a Princess meal with Rapunzel, Tiana, Merida, Anna and Elsa.

I second this. I was gutted Rapunzel only meets at PFH. A character meal with her would have been my first choice!

I wish there are 2-3 Princess meals so all the Princesses were catered to. Honestly we would do each of them per trip.

Elsa could greet you as you enter or have a Tiana Themed restaurant where she greets and the rest of the Princesses met inside. I always felt they were missing an opportunity here since Tiana owns a restaurant in her movie!

Tiana could greet in the foyer with Rapunzel, Merida, Anna and Elsa meeting inside

I think their popularity has to go down a bit before they would do it (it took me 3 years of trying to get dinner at CRT, & when did THAT movie come out?!)

If you've ever done a character meal, you will note that when the characters get to your table, so do several of othe people's children! With waits for A & E being up to 3 hours, how likely do you think it is that your table would get rushed!?....i would think that there are safety concerns to consider, and no...there are plenty of families who completely forget their manners or have none to begin with when thier little princess wants something!

CRT is easier to reserve than it used to be because they now do characters at all 3 meals, when it used to be just breakfast. They also run it continuously with no breaks between meals. In addition, BOG probably impacted the crowds a bit.

And honestly, I've never had another child run up to our table at a character meal. And we've done loads of them.

Still don't think they'll add A/E though.

Why put A&E in character meals that are already booked solid, when you can create events at DHS which will draw TONS of families to the park who might not otherwise go there or only make it a half-day park. I would imagine, over the summer, many families have changed their plans to go to DHS and make it a full day, spending money on merchandise, food, etc. They'll make far more off of the Frozen events in DHS than they ever would by simply sticking them in a restaurant.

As much as I love Pooh - how about another princess meal option at MK @ Crystal Palace... Move my favorite bear & his buddies to AK or DHS? I would love better character meal choice at DHS. JMO

I've heard the estimate that only 700 or so get through a day. I booked fp+ at midnight last night and couldn't get one for a&e. Hoping the HS deal will be enough for my princess.

I must of got lucky.. I Didn't booked our FP until 1030 am est. Got a A&E no problem.

And it's such a gorgeous venue. I would also love an Alice themed character meal there.

We have never been to WDW without going to CRT (last trip we ended up here 3 times but it was an extended trip) We are going to try and get BOG the night we would have been doing CRT. Akershus isn't a favourite but we need a Princess meal!

I'm not sure why Belle hasn't moved to BOG at dinner.

Once the popularity of both BOG and A&E slows down, I'd like to see theming princess meals to the specific venue. Put Belle (in her gold dress) and the Beast at BOG, and have Lumiere greet in the lobby. Even though that's too few for a M&G, Belle/Beast could waltz in the ballroom every hour, or she could sit and read in the library while he's in the West Wing. Gaston could even walk through and greet. Put the Fairy Godmother BACK into CRT's lobby, with Cindy and the Prince, Ariel and Eric, and "un-themed" princesses in the Castle (Tiana, Repunzel, Merida, etc.). Put A&E at Akershus, along with "princesses" from the WS pavilions (Aurora/Belle in her village dress, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Jasmine, Pocahontas- France, China, England, Germany, Morocco, US/native american).

1900PF could be a mixed bag. Mary Poppins, Bert, and penguin 'waiters' at breakfast, Alice and company (white rabbit, queen of hearts, tweedles) at lunch, and Cindy and the Prince, with step sisters, step mother, and mice at supper.

Anyhow… it'll all be up to the bean counters, right?

You're totally correct. They don't need any big names in the character meals...they're fully booked all the time without them. Rapunzel has been in the parks for how long and still isn't at a meal (and is very popular). Merida hasn't either. I see them putting those two at a meal before A&E, quite honestly.

Rapunzel makes somewhat regular appearances at CRT as of a few months back. We stayed for a long breakfast having coffee afterwards (and my bday cupcake) and saw 3 princess announcements. They rotated between snow white, jasmine, aurora, ariel and rapunzel. At first I thought she replaced snow white during the 2nd round but then she was back and so was rapunzel for the 3rd. Our CM confirmed.
