Just curious what the average stay at WDW is among my fellow Dis'ers. Last year we were there for a week, this year we are doing the same. I'd love to stay longer, but Hubby's vacation time won't allow it until next year...*sigh*

So..how long is your average stay at WDW?

seems to work out best for us...there's more to be see for the next time....:sunny:

we usually stay 14 or 15 nights....had one stay of 8 nights and it didn't seem long enought for us...(p.s. Im self-employed, so we can take longer trips if we want)..

Usually never less than 10. Except for this time as we are going while school is still in session!

I usually stay for about 8 days. But lately we have been staying for 10 days.:smooth:

usually 7-8 nights. Saturday-Sunday works well for us. This time we are doing 7 nights at the Poly then the 3 night Disney Wonder cruise!

/
01 - 6nights to begin with - on the 6th day we added on another 3 nights
02 - 8nights (booked at 22hr notice)
04 - 6nights booked at the VWL (followed by 2nights at MILs)

We usually stay for 6-7 nights, but this past year with our Disney wedding planning, we were doing short trips more frequently (2-3 nights).
I think one week is a good amount of time to be at WDW-especially if you work and don't get a lot of vacation time.

With the exception of our adults-only trip last year (5 nights) ours keep getting longer. 2001 was 5 nights, 2002 was 6 nights, this year will be 8 nights.

I think 7 nights will turn out to be the average. There are quite a few DISer's who go for 10+ nights, but they'll be balanced out by the many people who go for 4 or 5 nights. That's my prediction anyway! :D

Although I'd love to stay longer, we've never stayed longer than a week. DH's job just won't allow him to get more than a week at a time off. He gets enough total time for more, just can't take more than a week at a time. Ah, yes-but someday he WILL retire-then long trips here we come!

I rarely go for more than a day. It's about a two hour drive to the parks from my house so we book it home at closing. During the holidays (between Thanksgiving and Christmas) I'll spend a long weekend up there. That's my favorite time to go. I never go in the summer. I think the longest I've stayed there was four nights. I could pay my car off with what it takes to stay 10 days!

We go for 8 to 12 days. Depends on how much time we have. However, if we go shorter (8 days) then we plan a trip for later in the year.

Our first trip was 7nights 8 days. The next one will be 9 nights10 days. I hope to get to stay for 2 weeks soon, but that would have be during the summer so that my son doesn't miss school. I get 30 vacation days a year and can use 20 at a time.

Last trip was 9 days. Upcoming trip is 8 days. I need at least 8 days to feel comfotable with my schedule. Next time DW & I go alone, we hope to do 10 days.

On the average about 5 nights. Did 9 nights one time and liked it much better.

Six nights is about all my husband can manage. I however could go for much, much longer. Sigh.

Ours usually last 6 or 7 days.
Since we have APs this year we took 3 trips(well 2 so far, 1 still to come). Those were 6 days, 10 days, and 7 days coming up in July.
