How long do you spend in the Seas at EpCot?

I have a DS (8) who does like sharks, and the Nemo sharks in particular.

I am wondering how much time to alot for us to spend at the Seas at EpCot, assuming we stay for Turtle Talk, the Nemo ride and take our time through the aquarium and exhibits.

Do you think 2 hours is enough? This would be after riding TT at rope drop, in mid-August.

So if the park opens at 9:00 a.m., perhaps we'd be out of there by noon?

(I'm not trying to rush us through it, I just want to know how much time to allow, so I know what to do after that.:))

What do you think?

TIA!

i think 2 hours is plenty.

OH- and one thing to point out- if you have NOT been to the Nemo show in Animal Kingdom yet- you'll miss out on some of the subtleties of the nemo ride at the Seas. Not to say you have to do it first if it doesn't make sense in your planning, but its a great show and then you sing along w/ the songs on the ride :-) But teh ride is very unimpressive really. Just your basic sit and stroll along- but if your kids like nemo they'll think it's darn cool.

my FAVE is all the jellyfish rules :-)

If you do Nemo and Turtle Talk early (after TT at RD), the lines shouldn't be too out of control yet. I would think 2 hours would be plenty of time to do those and spend a while taking in the aquariums.

We don't normally spend that much time there, but maybe we should!

My 6 year old niece is totally into the Seas...we spent an hour in there and that didnt count seeing Crush! She could sit there all day and watch the fish swim by

You may have to wait for Turtle Talk to open but if you go directly there at 9 you'll be out of there by 10 easy unless you wait for Turtle Talk to open......but the line for Nemo at 9am is nill......

2 hours should be no problem. We went during Spring Break and rode TT and got FPs for Soarin' and did The Sea and Turtle Talk and were done before noon.

2 hours should be plenty. My DD5 and DD8 both LOVE The Living Seas with Nemo. We can not go to Epcot without making a visit there. With that said, we usually spend about 30-45 minutes each time because we always do EPCOT in 2 days. There is definately alot to see and do there. I am not sure exactly what time Talking with Crush starts so depending on your plans afterwards, you may want to come back to that....but definately do that, my DH thought that was one of the best things he saw.

Not sure if your son would like this, but in the later afternoons (check with a CM for times), they have SCUBA divers in the main tank. Many of the divers will interact with the kids on the other side of the glass. Might be a fun surprise if anyone is there around that time.:)

We were there a few weeks ago, and they had a presentation on the dolphin training that was pretty neat to watch. They talked about training them and the dolphins were fun to watch. I'm not sure how often they do the "shows" or when they start, but it'd be worth asking about (IMHO).

I appreciate your input and suggestions.

I personally really liked the Seas the last time we visited (before DS came along), so I expect we will take our time through it.

I'm thinking of a touring plan something like this:

1. Arrive at rope drop
2. Head straight to Test Track and Ride
3. Grab FP for Soarin'
4. Go to the Seas - do Nemo, Turtle Talk and check out the aquarium
5. Ride Soarin'
6. Lunch at Sunshine Seasons (or whatever its called)
7. Innoventions/Imagination Pavilion
8. Spaceship Earth (?) - may wait to do this when we return in the evening
9. Back to the hotel to rest
10. Come back by 5 pm-ish and possibly walk/eat around World Showcase
What do you think?

(We will have at least one, possibly two other full day(s) at Epcot:woohoo:, so we'll have lots of time to do everything we want, I think.)

I also read that although Future World closes early, the main attractions are still open? Is that true? Would that include TT?

Thanks again!
