How long do you kids stay at the clubs?

I'm puzzled. I was reading the Navigator, and I noticed that the activities for the kids are fairly short. For instances they have something from 10:00-10:30. When signing your kids up for the things, do you sign them up from 10:00- 12:00 or the 30 mins here and 30 mins there. I just don't understand how this works. We will have a 6DS, 3DD and an 8 month old. Thanks for you help.

My two boys 3 and 6. Would usually go for an hour or two at a time during the day depending on what they wanted to do at the clubs. Then at night usually a couple of hours but not every night.

Some kids love it and want to stay alot. Have a great time!

Your kids can stay at the clubs for as long or as little as they like during their open hours. The activities listed in the navigator are a guide to their schedule during the day. The non-activity time may be transition time or free time in the lab or club. You register your children at the beginning of the cruise and receive a pager. You will tell them who can check them in or out. Some kids don't want to stay in all day but want to learn how to make flubber. Others want to stay all day.

Hope this helps

I think you can sign them up for as long as they want to stay.

Our DD, (age 8 last year) only wanted to go for a couple of activties at certain times but didn't want to stay otherwise.

Don't go by the Navigator. They show only the times they have particular activities. They are always playing on the computer and with the other kids. My DD (8) went only once during the day for about an hour, but was there EVERY night from 10:00 (after dinner) until 1:00 when they closed. She could have beeped us any time to get her but she loved it. Then we would have some grown up time at the adult shows, have a drink or 2 then pick her up and the best part for her was ordering room service at 1:00 a.m. She had an absolute blast. Everyone who worked in the lab wa WONDERFUL!

My sons (5 & 8) wanted to be checked in after breakfast and picked up at midnight! They LOVED the Club and Lab!! I think they enjoyed staying for longer periods of time because they got to pal around with friends. Since we were on the 3- and 4-day cruises they didn't get to stay all day (because of excursions) and we also wanted them to see the shows (which they also LOVED!). We did take them to dinner with us for Animator's Palate but they wanted to eat with their friends the other nights -- who were we to argue! We had some great "date nights"!!

My DD 6 usually went to the club after dinner. Until out midnight. Twice, she closed the place!

As far as the schedule, the events kind of flow into one another. Except when they are moving between locations-i.e. the club and the lab, or the movies-etc

my kids also loved it and twice DD refused to leave at night (she is a HUGE movie fan and wanted to stay watching the movies they show every night).

They quickly developed a pattern of wanting to order room service or getting pizza for dinner and going to the clubs while we ate - we ended up switching to late dinner becuase of that and felt far less rushed during the day. We booked late seating for our next cruise - it worked out really well for us
