How long do you have to activate an Annual Pass?

If I purchase an AP voucher today before the prices go up, how long do I have before I have to use it?

As far as I know it is good for forever until you activate it. There is no date that you have to do it by. You can use it in a few years if youd like. It doesnt say on the vouchers either that there is a time restriction ... lots of people do this to save money.

Can you buy an AP voucher if you already have an activated AP or do you have to wait until the activated AP expires?Thanks.
