How long did it take for your postcards to get where they were going?

I dropped some postcards into the POFQ lobby mailbox on Wednesday November 30th, and my cousin here in NJ texted to say they got theirs...yesterday, December 12th. Is this normal for mail from the resorts? Would it have been just as bad if I had mailed them from a regular mailbox, or gone to a post office?

We mailed some from Pop, took over a week to get to St Louis. It was longer than we expected but I thought perhaps it was due to the holidays and increased mail?
