How long can you park at a resort for an ADR?

We were looking at having breakfast at the Riviera (Topolinos ADR), then just hopping into Epcot from there. Is it a problem to leave a car at the resort while spending the day in a park? If it matters, we are also DVC members so we wouldn't be charged for parking normally anyway.

The standard stated here for years is three hours for an ADR. Parking at a resort all day while visiting a park is unfair to the resort guests who are paying to stay there but can't find a spot to park because the lot is full of visitors. That said, once you get past the parking guard, it's unlikely that anyone will be watching how long you stay or towing your car away.

DVC members get free parking at the resort they're staying at. WDW resort guests get free parking at the theme parks (DVC members staying offsite don't get free parking at the parks). No one is charged to park at a resort when they have an ADR there.

Three hours parking is what Disney allows with an ADR. If the resort is near one of the parks, they are wise to people trying to get out of paying by 'gaming' the system and parking for free at a resort. Monorails resorts are a typical example due to their proximity to MK. I wouldn't risk getting my car towed by leaving it there all day. Don't own a Disney timeshare, so can't speak to how that my be different.

Gotcha. Definitely don't want to get towed or make life difficult for other on site guests!

I would just park at Epcot and take the skyliner over to Riviera and then back.

I think you meant park at DHS to take the Skyliner over to Riviera. Parking at Epcot means then entering Epcot, walking through it and out the IG to the Skyliner station. There's no Skyliner station at the front of Epcot where the parking lot is. OTOH, parking at DHS and taking the Skyliner to Riviera is easy, despite having to transfer at CBR from the DHS line to the Epcot line.
