How long can you linger on board before you have to leave?

Just from memory I think you have to be out of your room by 8 and off the ship by 9.

Markey is correct....DCL strongly requests that you are out of your cabin by 8:00 am and off the ship by 9:00 am. That leaves only 3 short hours for the fantastic crew to get that ship in shape for the next group of lucky passengers!!!

If I make arrangements for town car to pick us up at 9:00 and we leave the ship early, is there a place to hang out while we are waiting to get picked up or are we outside in the elements in a big parking lot? Sorry if this sounds stupid but we are first time cruisers and I want to get this time thing down right.

Just got back from a 4 day trip. DCL must be trying to speed things up because they wanted you out of your stateroom no later than 8:00 and wanted you off the boat at 8:45.

Not really. There are some waiting areas near the bus side of things, but its usually crowded. Its best just to hang out on board IMO.

I would just hang out on Deck 4 outside on the terminal side. You can watch the shiip being unloaded and reloaded for the next cruise and also watch the people leaving the ship.

I think as long as you are out of your room and out of breakfast you can relax - as we did...we didn't see anyone asking us to leave so we were off about 9:20 and it was nice to relax and wander a little before getting off...I wouldn't want to be in anyone's way I can't imagine how they get the ship ready so quickly.

BTW, I thought our bags would be the last ones in the claim area but, wow, far from it so I am sure we weren't the only ones taking our time. It also made it very easy to get a porter since the crowd had left.
Now we were driving so we were in no hurry for flights or other transportation.

On our second DCL with arrived a hour or two late at PC. Because of an medical emergency at Casataway Cay, we were on the ship close to 10 p.m. Since we had all day before our flight we took our time, but was never asked to leave. By the way the Cast Members Hate this day, they dread it. So much to do in such a little time.
