Rides, I'd say 30 minutes for a favorite; 20 for something I don't mind skipping or coming back to. (This will be tested next trip when I have to ride Soarin' standby thanks to FEA and Tiering.)

Characters, I've waited 1 hr 40 min for A&E in the old days at Epcot, and over an hour for Hiro/Baymax and Joy/Sadness. If they ever let us meet Judy & Nick, or if I ever manage to visit when Jack & Sally are there, I'll wait as long as it takes.

We did 90 minutes at TSMM on our first trip.

Now we tend not to wait more than 20 minutes or so.

We're quite good at queuing if it's something particular say 45-60 mins. but our special needs grandson can't cope so I'm already looking for plans to help for our trip with him next year.

20-30 minutes maximum unless it's for something rare. For most rides we will only wait 15 -20 minutes unless it's a real must do and it's our last day. We waited in line for 50 minutes to meet the 7 Dwarves during MVMCP (we lined up before the party started) 40 minutes to meet Santa (Santa at MK was a must do for us)

If it's just me and my DH, we will wait up to an hour if it's something we really want to ride. We did TSMM at rope drop and went three times in a row. First time was basically a walk on, 2nd time was maybe 10 minutes, 3rd time was 45 minutes and if we would have went for a 4th time it would have been 90 minutes which is too much for us. If there was a new ride that we couldn't get fp for I think we would wait as much as 2 hours

Usually 30 minutes max. However, we are heading down in a few weeks and figuring if we are in the heat maybe 20 minutes. On the flip side, if the que is cool probably a bit longer.

We will do a posted wait time of 20 minutes. If it doesn't seem to be accurate we will walk. We rope drop, FP+, take a break and then tour at our leisure.

An hour for a new ride or Fantasmic! (to get a good seat while eating a CS dinner), 40 minutes for a mountain/equivalent (Test Track, etc), a half hour or 20 minutes for anything else; 5 minutes for the carousel and Teacups. It depends for characters: if they're hard to find then a little over an hour; others I'll wait in line about 20 minutes max. This is by posted time, obviously. Once I'm already knee-deep in the line and it's looking to be a longer wait then I'm certainly not turning around with only 5-10 minutes more to waste.

I've been spoiled to be able to go at non-crowded times the past few trips, so I don't like waiting more than 20 min. for most attractions! But if it's a new ride or a "must do" and it's our only chance to ride, we've waited an hour +. I'd rather wait and ride than miss out completely!

40 minutes (and only the major ones). If it's longer than that and we don't already have a fp and can't get it as a later one then we'll try for in the last hour

It is not so much a hard number but does the wait fit into my plans. Especially at Epcot/AK/DHS. If my next fast pass is at 1, its now 12 and this ride has a 50 or 60 minute wait? Why not? What else am I going to do? At Magic Kingdom, I rarely get into lines with a posted wait over 45 minutes.

I'm another 20 min max, first trip was almost my last trip, waited 45-50 mins for splash, big thunder, space, at MK. same at other parks, I was done with Disney....Then about 6 months later my wife tells me about the new fastpass, ok lets try it again, game changer, almost yearly trips since...

We waited 45 minutes standby for Frozen Ever After last week then rode it a second time right after with our FP. That's about as long as I'm willing to wait under normal circumstances.

We waited in the Midway Mania queue for about an hour just because it was during a torrential rain and we needed somewhere dry to duck into. Otherwise, nope.

For me 30 min indoors, 45 outdoors - After that I'm likely to have a panic attack if I'm feeling "trapped/confined" (in which case I've "excuse me" all the way back out to the entrance...)

I waited 45 minutes to meet Joy and Sadness. It was late and I was tired, and just happy to have some air conditioning. That's the longest I waited. Otherwise max is about 30 minutes.
