how long are you willing to stand in a line?

20-25 max for "top tier" rides (TT, Soarin', 7DMT, TSMM, etc.), 15 minutes tops for the others.

There are only 2 times (in the last 15 years) I've waited more than 25 minutes for a ride. The first one was several years ago when we used a FP- for TT and the ride went down just as we were entering the pre-show area. We asked if we could get our FPs back and come back at a later time and we were told "no", so we just stayed put. It took about 25 minutes for the ride to come back online and we had already waited about 10 minutes before it went down. The second time was last week for Frozen Ever After. We waited 30 minutes in the FP return line after the ride had been down for an hour or so.

30-45 minutes, depending on the ride. If it's a "must-do", then 45 minutes (HM, PotC, BTMRR, TOT, TT. ). My daughter and I waited 60 minutes for RNRC, but only bc it kept breaking down and really.... what else were we going to do in DHS? The lines for most of other rides were not much better! If I only did the rides with wait times of 20 minutes or less, I would be really bored. I think 60 minutes would be my max no matter the ride. 90 or 120 minutes for TSMM? Nope. I love the ride, but nope!! If I did not have a FP for 7SMT on our last trip. I wold have skipped it.

I regularly wait 2 hours in lines for things at the local six flags, and that's stuff I've rode more times than I can keep count. So I can wait in long lines at any other theme park with no issue.

For us, 45 minutes would probably be the max for a headliner. Non-headliners I'd say 20.

I waited about 2 hours or so for Gringotts. A non-special ride, 45-60 minutes.

I felt as i was duped at Disneyland Paris as the line for the characters looked about 15 minutes long. I ended up waiting over 45 minutes. I didnt realise at the time that the characters at DLP spend so much time with each family.
Even Pluto got vexed with Goofy for taking too long. Haha.

20 minutes, although we usually try to stick to 10-15. However, if we aren't with the kids, and it's something I really wanted to do, I'd wait 45-60 minutes, but that's rare. And I guess I'd wait longer under very special circumstances, but none come to mind right now.

The longest posted wait we got in was like 20 minutes (Haunted mansion). We did start Snow White's line one morning when we were passing by maybe 15 minutes before the posted time. She didn't come out until 30 minutes after the time so we ended up waiting what felt like literally forever! That was the longest about 45 minutes, but we didn't do it on purpose!

Apparently 150 minutes.....to meet Flynn Ryder.... at MVMCP....."but MOM, it's FLYNN!" We met some fun people in line and Flynn was great, but 2 1/2 hours!

And standing in line to meet his true love tested my limits. We hopped in line for Rapunzel when the wait time said 20 minutes. That was a lie. By 40 minutes, I had had enough, but - because I'm a sucker - 1.5 hours later DD finally got to meet her. So, I would like to say my "still happy and comfy" max time limit is now 30 minutes, but I don't know if I can trust the wait time signs anymore.

Normally, I don't want to wait in any line but it varies if the line has a/c or not. i'd say about 15-20 minutes is my max before the wait starts to impact my attitude towards the ride. It's almost never a fun ride for me if I'm waiting longer and does negatively impact my experience. to many 20 minutes in a row and I'm done with lines but you learn to break it up as you go around.

There is exceptions to everything. The other night I was basically done at HS but had an hour to wait for fantasmic to start so instead of sitting around and possibly spending more money in the stores or on snacks we got in a 50 minute line for TSMM and get a ride out of it. A ride we've been avoiding because of long lines but this time it fit in and gave us something to pass our time.

Now would I wait 2-5 hours for a ride? probably not unless I had another reason to go on the ride.

30 minutes max. I keep things in perpective. I am paying alot to be at the park and will not waste money standing for hours.. The FEA and Soarin times lately just perplex me.. the one guy on disboards waited from 9:30 until was it 3pm??, granted ride kept breaking down but sorry 95 dollars for a whole day almost??? I hope people werent waiting that long and wasting a day if this was their only EP day.. they missed out on so much more.

NOTHIN is worth it. Parents need to be smart and 1. not tell their little kids what is possible to ride 2. or say we can try but not promise..

I have FPs for FEA, but if we didnt I would tell my DD we can go check the lines out, but a half a day or even more than 60 minutes ( exception for new ride) we will skip this and do other things.

Did make an exception last trip though. We had a FP+ for TSMM for 6pm but were done with DHS around 2pm. I figured waiting in a 60 minute line was better thn waiting 4 hours for the FP+. The kids were desperate to ride it!
