How limited is Kennedy Space Center with Covid restrictions?

If I only plan to go once in life, how much am I missing out on by going now with some Covid restrictions in place?

I don't necessarily want to wait - who knows when I'll get a chance to be back in the area. That said, I'd hate to pay a significant chunk of money for a severely restricted experience. Anyone have opinions about how good the experience is right now?

We enjoyed it in May and didn't get to do the bus tour and we had to wear masks everywhere on property. So I imagine it's probably even better now.

KSC is up to what I'd call 90%

if vaccinated you do not have to wear a mask: https://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/info/coronavirus

the only 'base' attraction that is not open (according to the website) is the bus tour that was IMO a core element of a visit. So you won't get the up close look at launch pads and assembly building etc

BUT the other big part of the bus tour was this was how you got to the building where the Saturn 5 and several other exhibits are and this was a BIG loss...... however you now CAN get there even tho the basic bus tour is not running.

You need to make reservations for limited access transportation (first come fist serve)
"The Apollo/Saturn V Center is open again and requires a transportation reservation to visit. Learn how to make a reservation and include the Apollo/Saturn V Center to your day. "
