How Likely is an Upgrade to Concierge at AKL? 12/1-12/5/07

Anyone know what our chances of being upgraded at AKL to concierge level from 12/1-12/5/07 might be? It is our anniversary and this is noted on the reservation. Wasn't sure if this might be a possibility or if it's a little harder to get the upgrade at AKL or due to the time of year?

Either way, it will be a very exciting trip that we are totally looking forward to! We'll still be at WDW and in AKL...not too shabby

Just under 13 days to go until WDW....OKW for the first portion of our trip, then off to finish at AKL.

Congrats but really unlikely since there are fewer CL rooms with the villas taking the 5th and 6th floors. Also, there are fewer rooms in general due to construction. We were able to get an upgrade from a standard view AP rate to a savanna view room this past week but it was on the side with construction plus we had the dreaded "people pens". We actually saw quite a few animals and since it was a free upgrade, we were very happy.

chances are most likely zero to none ! Most of the resorts are sold out for that time period so most all the rooms are booked already.

Yes, it's a slim chance but you never know! Just ask at check-in and bring up that it's your anniversay. They might give you an option to upgrade for a reduced amount if not for free. The worst they can say is "no" and you'll be no worse off than you were before asking.
