Can we wait till that day? Can a ride CM phone it in? Or do we just not show up? (I know the last is rude) Im thinking that if we get off a ride late and realize we wont make it can we tell a ride CM and they'll tell the restaurant to cancel? or not worry about it?

The CM's who operate the rides are not there to provide you with cancelation assistance. You'll either need to find a phone yourself, use your cell, or just not show up if you can't make it. You'll also have to call Disney Dining not the individual restaurant.

It's a good thought, newholiday, because I know hosts always appreciate the info. I know one time when I asked WDW-Dine the cancellation policy on a non-charge ps, the cm said it would be very kind if we took the time to cancel a ps we knew we wouldn't be using, but not necessary if we couldn't make it happen.

Since they technically don't hold the table for you, it's not like there's an empty table being wasted, but it might cut down the wait time for those without ps's.

Have a magical day!

I have never had a problem planning for a PS time. You are asked to arrive 10 mintues early for your PS so just make a decision before the ride or show as to if you have enough time. All the shows have the start time and duration listed on the park map. All the rides have the wait time posted. Just keep track of time as the PS time gets close. Should a ride breakdown or something unforseen happens then I am sure you could show up late and still have your PS honored.

If you decide that you don't want to keep the PS please do cancell it. I don't think any CM can either make or cancel a PS for you.

Would this be before or after he/she is finished checking to see if the lap bar was pulled down properly?

Hi newholiday,

Ride CMs can't call in PS cancelations but guest services should be able to, or if you have a cell phone with you can call up to the time of the PS and cancel.

Just make sure that you do cancel, in case someone is waiting for it. :)

Also, it's okay if you are a little late. You'll get in at the next closest time. Was there a specific place you are concerned about?

If your PS doesn't involve a deposit, you can cancel up to the last moment. You can approach any podium at any fullservice or buffet restaurant and they can help you. Obviously not a good idea if said podium is already busy. But the person staffing the podium at CRT can cancel a LTT PS for you, etc..

You can call WDWDining on your own, of course as others have noted.

If you happen to have the restaurant's direct #, you can call that also. I think most guests don't have easy access to direct numbers, however.

Guest services at any park or resort can cancel for you, too.

You can also call from any pay phone in a park to reach Disney Dining to cancel. But I can't remember what you need to dial!:o *55 or*88, maybe. Hopefully someone else will remember!
