how late is too late to leave Poly for MKs Wishes

PS at 6pm, Wishes at 8pm
Is 7 too late to leave Poly for a good spot at MK for Wishes? or should we just stay at the Poly beach?

When we used to stay at the Poly, I always thought the fireworks view from the beach was perfect. Wouldn't have even tried to get back to the MK.

I agree with Uncleromulus. On our last trip we actually left MK to view Wishes from the Poly so we could avoid the crowds getting out. We had a great spot on the marina and could hear the soundtrack fine there.
With that said, if you havent seen Wishes from inside the MK, it is a different experiece and worth fighting the crowds for at least once.

We were there two weeks ago, the view from the beach at the Poly was great. No crowds. Have fun for us.
