I do not want to have drive through the night to get on a cruise. It would just put my mind at ease to not have to do that lol I live in Louisiana and it will probably take about 9 hours to get to port canaveral. I am hoping to get off the day before our cruise but just in case that is impossible do you think I can fin a hotel that would let me check in at like 3am? Then just rest our heads a few hours and leave that morning to board the cruise?

The hotel probably won't mind much when you get there as long as they get your money. You can call a few up and ask. We got to the Radisson Resort @ The Port at about 1am one time. They didn't really care cause they would get our money even if we no-showed.

If you make a reservation note it in the comments section and then make sure you call the hotel that night around 7-8 and remind them that you are coming in late. Otherwise they may think you are a no show and give your room away.

Most hotels as long as they know, there happy. I wouldn't be surprised if you pulled up to 1, and could make a reservation right then and there.

While I agree with the previous posters that the hotel won't mind as long as they know to expect you for a late arrival, why push yourself to get all the way to PC? I'd recommend stopping somewhere around midnight, get some sleep, then drive the remaining 3 hours in the morning.

I agree with previous poster to make sure you call the evening you are booked for and remind them what time you expect to be in so they can make sure they don't give your room away. Some hotels have online check in. Like the Marriott brand

So the Residence inn at port should allow you to do that the day of and you can already have your room assigned. You will still want to call ahead and confirm with a person the evening of though.

Exactly....Ask for "guaranteed Late Arrival" and make sure they confirm it in writing to you.
