Thinking about doing a last-minute 3-day cruise w/o kids for our 23rd anniversary. Wondering when they stop boarding guests, as I am having difficulty finding flights that will work.
Also, anybody know how long to drive from Tampa?
TIA.

I have heard that Tampa is around 2.5 hours from the Port! I believe you have to be on board at least 1 hour before schedule departure but they mention that ships have been known to leave early if weather threatens! I would suggest a flight that gets in no later then noon. If you plan on going into Tampa.

Please, please take it from my DW and me, to not cut it close. Figure out some way to get there earlier. We did it ONCE and never again. We arrived at the terminal and there was only one baggage person there, only one person at a counter, and we walked up the gangway, and they literally left moments later. It took us the night to calm down! Ever since, we make sure we are in port the night before. That may not be an option for you, but try to get there earlier!

Also, a lotof people dont take into consideration, that 1st day is one of your vacation days! If you dont board until late, you are wasting a half of one of your days! Especially on a 3 day cruise.......
