how late can you add someone to reservation?

we leave on Wednesday. It was supposed to be a family trip but hubby got pulled for work (military) and so I was going w/ my daughter and neice by myself, but now there is a small chance that he might be able to go with us... we should know by monday. How late is too late to add him to the reservation (we are driving so no plane tickets involved). We are set up to use the dining plan... if he is added so late will we still be able to or is it NBD to add another person, we are only 3 right now and with him will be 4 so we don't have to worry about having too many in the room.

You should be able to add him to the dining plan 48 hours ahead - so if you call on Monday it would work without any problem.

I have added people to the reservation even after we got there but we did not have the dining plan so that would make a difference. Be sure to call at least 48 hours ahead to do that as Doc said.
