How is WDW in the beginning of June??

A little too late to ask now since it's only 2 days away and booked

We are staying offsite from June 1-8..How is it crowd wise around that time? I usually go in November or April/May, but this year we're doing it a little different due to jobs and time off..

I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be too bad because most schools don't get off until a week or two from now..so maybe we'd be beating the crowds as it's after Memorial day too..Anyone have any experience with this time of year?

Crowds won't be as bad as they will in a few weeks. You will see a lot of foreigners this time of year....plus the weather is hot and sticky.

I lived in Orlando for about 3 years and it will be muggy..but thank goodness for afternoon rain showers! We are going to be there on Saturday 16-22. Our family simply cannot wait! Have so much fun!

I went last year around this time and it wasn't too bad. If you aren't a big Star Wars fan, don't go to Star Wars weekends at DHS.

I've been gobs of times, the first week of June.

It'll be warm, but it's nothing compared to July, August and the beginning of September. Start your day early, head back in the afternoon to your resort, and then head back to the parks in the early evening. The parks are open later, so you'll miss the hottest part of the day, but you really won't lose much time.

The crowds are manageable. Most schools are still in session. It's when they're all out, that crowds become thick and miserable.

I'd look for some sort of Disney travel planner that helps you with zigging, when the crowds are zagging. There will be several events happened the first week of June, and it'll help you avoid crowds. I prefer Tour Guide Mike. I'm all about not waiting in line for long, and I've used his guides about ten times now, and they work great.
