How is traffic on S. Harbor Blvd?

I’m seeing pictures of cars backed up towards the freeway from the parking structures on S. Disneyland Dr. early in the morning. But how is the traffic on S. Harbor Blvd? We’ll be taking an Uber and want to make sure we get dropped off by 6:30am at the drop off spot across from the Denny’s and Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites. Will we be stuck in traffic?

Although Harbor is busy traffic moves along pretty good. I have seen a slight backup at the drop off area you are talking about but since there is a light right before that area it clears pretty fast.

The crazy pictures you are seeing of those trying to get into the parking structure is due to there being a dead stop and no one moving. Traffic moves on S Habor - sometimes it gets backed up but if you are being dropped off then you will not be stuck for any length of time.

Traffic in Orange County California in general is not that bad. Sure there is congestion but far less than other cities in the US.

Traveling north from Lampson and Harbor Blvd.
If you are concerned about traffic have them drop you at downtown Disney. You would avoid traffic directly outside Disneyland on harbor. And heading north you would approach downtown Disney from the south end of Disneyland dr which typically doesn’t have traffic in the morning.

Would this be the same if coming from near Knotts? Staying there because the hyatts by DLR were sold out for next weekend.

Knotts is north west of Disneyland. So I would use the harbor drop off since you don’t have to make a u turn and to get to downtown Disney you would have to deal with parking structure traffic to a certain point.

Thank you! I wasn't sure where it was looking at the map before.

I was thinking of getting dropped off at the Anaheim Inn and Suites so we don’t have to do a U-Turn to get to the drop off area.

Be aware that many of the businesses across from the parks on Harbor do not permit ride share drop offs for people going to the parks. It would be better for you to be dropped off at DTD or to just leave a bit earlier (maybe 15 minutes?) to give plenty of extra time for the signal at Ball Rd. and Harbor.

Thank you for that tip!
