How is the weather in April and what to wear?

I am going to wdw 4/1-4/9 and need to know what the temperature is like? Also when will they post the park hours? I have been to fla in april but that was years ago and fla weather is always changing from year to year. So appeciate any input.Plus going solo,big step for me.

We usually go the end of April, and have not worn long pants at all. Just love going down there and having shorts on the entire time.

We went at the end of April last year and it was in the upper 80's and lower 90's during the day. We got sunburned. Be sure to take ponchos. I hope this helps.

We'll be there also. It's usually in upper 70's and low 80's so definitely great weather! The only think I pack is a lightweight jacket for evenings. We have had very little rain in the past and usually nice pool weather.

We went last year at exactly this time and found that although we brought light jackets and sweatshirts, we never used them. Well, a few of us put them on in the morning, but always wished we had left them in the room about an hour later! The weather is fantastic in early April! You'll have some crowds, but the great weather more than makes up for it, IMO! Have a terrific trip

The park hours, including the early/late entry dates are posted on the Disney site. They have it in calendar form and I print it out and put dining reservations on it to keep track of things.

The weather is great in April. We have been in the middle of the month a few times and can't remember a day of rain. My DW who is often colder than me, does put on a light jacket sometimes at night, but that is about it. As for the park hours, they are available at the disney web site.
