we are going to DW march 25-31. this will be not only our first trip to the world, but also our first trip to florida!! we are staying at coronado springs.

what should i expect weather-wise? will we be able to swim? and are the pools there heated??

We've been to WDW twice at that time. It's been hit or miss. Both times it was cool in the mornings & evenings - maybe upper 50's/lower 60's at that time and then rising into the 70's/low 80's. Swimming was possible, and the pools are heated. The kids and DH swam a little on both trips, but I prefer it a bit hotter before going in the water.

As for rain, last year we had bad luck. It rained pretty badly 2-3 days, but the rest of the ddays were fine. I don't seem to recall rain on the other trip, so it must not have been as intense as in 2011.

Have a great trip! We love WDW and can't wait until the next visit! :)

awesome thanks so much!! we are only doing park tix for 3 days of the trip, so we can relax the rest of the time, so even if there is a couple days of rain, i think we will be just fine!! actually, as long as we get a vacation and out of ohio, i think we'll be fine! lol

March is still dry season, and even though you could get rain at any time in Florida it'll be less likely than if you came in June the beginning of the wet season. As far as temperatures,by late March it should be pretty pleasant, the coldest days of the year from December through February should be gone and the heat doesn't start until mid to late April so weather wise you're good, lows in the 50's-60's and highs in the 70's to lower 80's.

We went this past March and it was wonderful. In the past we only went in May and August and it was HHHHOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT! Did I mention it was hot? March was perfect for us this year. Temps in the mid 80's at most. You can swim, but it was a little chilly out of the water. We had zero rain for our entire trip, but we all know how mother nature can be.
