We are going Sept 28- Oct. 3rd. We've never been to FL anytime except winter and are wondering how to pack. Is it still very hot then, chilly at night? Also, how are the crowds then? Thanks so much!

Gosh, It is really hard to say. We've been having record heat recently. They have said that a cold front would be coming in a couple of weeks. That probably means the highs will be low 90s instead of upper 90s. Since you are coming at the end of September, the weather could change a lot. Be prepared for warm afternoons and cool evenings. You will probably want sweaters or jackets for evening.

You've picked a great time to visit! I've been there during that timeframe on three visits. The temperature was great....mostly in the lower 80s. We did not need jackets at night, but some people were wearing them. Last year a hurricane had passed through the week before we arrived. For more information, here is a website with historical weather patterns for Orlando:

On our first visit during that time of year, we walked on just about every ride. It's been getting more crowded and I expect that will be the case this year with the free dining packages and the Food and Wine Festival starting 9/30. Still, it is much less crowded than most other times of the year. I think you'll LOVE it! Let us know when you get back.

we are going the 30th-7th, and from everybody i have talked to, i think the weather is going to be great...maybe a few showers... :cool1:

We are also going Sept. 22 - 29. We've been in May, July, and August but never Sept. DH is from FL and says it should be a great time unless there's a hurricane :umbrella: but we're not going to worry about that ;) .
