How is the Under the Sea line usually?

I'm trying to decide if I need to include that in my Rope Drop attractions at Fantasyland or if it can wait until later in the morning/early afternoon.

Thanks!

Magic Kindgom day is Wednesday February 12 by the way.

Not a huge line most of the day...it draws a bunch but is an omnimover and eats people for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not a rope-drop priority in my opinion.

Thanks! I'm starting to think about including Space Mountain my Rope Drop plans (after Fantasyland) so we can get two rides that day using our FP+ later if even necessary.

The FP+ priority list I put together can be applied to attractions at rope drop as well, since in effect a rope-drop arrival gives you FP-like access to rides for a short while. Space is certainly a popular rope-drop choice, and for good reason.

That's definitely the way to get two rides in with the shortest possible wait, and Space doesn't have to be your very first RD attraction. We've often ridden at about 9:30 with minimal wait

Little Mermaid is not a priority at rope drop. The line will never be long and the line is pleasant (indoors, entertaining).

Fantasyland Rope Drop priorities are Peter Pan and Enchanted Tales with Belle.

Tomorrowland priorities are Astro Orbiter and Space Mountain.

I don't think any other rides are real priorities at Rope Drop. And by that I mean that no other rides will have 30+ minute waits at 10:30. But Peter Pan, ETWB, Astro Orbiter, and Space will have 30+ minute waits really soon after rope drop.

Princess Meet and Greets are also RD priorities, especially Merida, Rapunzel, and Tinker Bell.

Agree, except Enchanted Tales with Belle is hard to get to fast enough to beat the other Rope Droppers who are sprinting there. The wait will build very quickly.

I'd get a FP+ for it, instead.

Thanks everyone! I already have a FP+ for ETWB. I was trying to figure out if we should include Mermaid in our RD strategy so that when we come back later for our BOG lunch at 1:30 the line isn't crazy and we end up not wanting to wait. Good to know that it shouldn't be too awful and we can instead consider going to Space.

Whoever asked about the wait at the Speedway - believe it or not, when we were there on our last trip (in May), there was only a 15 minute wait to ride it. That is the only time I have EVER seen that line so short - we rode it twice.
