How is the family meal served at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Is it that the appitizer, salad and desert served family style and then pick your own entree?

Also, do yuo get phota pack free if your on DDP?

Since you mentioned salad, I will assume you are talking about either lunch or dinner. For lunch or dinner, your appitizer is a buffet of cheeses, meats and salads. Then, everyone at the table chooses their own entree. Dessert is brought out family style (3 different desserts brought out on 1 plate for the whole table).

Yes, the photo package is included in the price while using the DDP.

Personally, I think that Akershus is one of the best deals on property if you are on the dining plan. The food is very good, the interactions have already been great for us, and the free picture package at the end is great! I wanted to book it again this trip, but DH wants to try new stuff.

I just wanted to point out that the photo has nothing to do with the DDP. It is included with the price of the meal regardless of your method of payment.

As stated by others, the appetizer bar is buffet, the entrees are ordered off the menu and brought out by your server for each individual and desserts are brought by your server and served to everybody at the table family style.
