Ok this may sound stupid but I'm not sure I understand how the dining plan is put on your card. This is my first time getting a Disney package and I think I have figured out that my room key also has my tickets on it. Correct? Now does it also have my individual meal credits too ( if this is so how could anyone pool there credits??) It will be me, DH, DD(9), DD(5), my mom, MIL and FIL. I would like to have our immediate families credits on one card but think mom and inlaws should have their own. It is one ressie with 2 rooms so I don't know what the possibilities are. I'm sorry if this sounds confusing and pointless but I don't want to be responsible for everyones credits and making sure everyones together at all times ( what if mom is back at the resort and wants a snack--too bad :confused3 . Oh well maybe someone knows what I'm talking about and will have some insight.

Your room key ("Key to the World") will also have your admission and a pool of meal credits (as you are booked on one ressie). Each persons card (as it stands right now) can be used to access the "bank" of credits. If mom is back at the resort and wants a snack, she uses her own card, and it comes out of the "bank" of credits. As long as you aren't worried about people over-spending them, you should be fine.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much. That makes it easier if we split up. No one's a real big eater so I'm not really concerned about "overspending". It also makes it easier if just one person wants to go up to the counter w/o having to present 7 cards.
