How is the bus situation at ALL STAR MOVIES.

Is there usually a long wait? Do you share a bus with the other All Star resorts?

When we stayed at ASM the busses were crowded, and yes it did share with all of the All Stars, but they seemed to come more frequently. I think Disney allots buses based on how many guests are at the resort and if there are alternate means of transportation. I.E. at Boardwalk it takes awhile to get a bus to MGM, but you can take the boat. I'm not even sure they offer a bus to EPCOT (we've never taken one). You shouldn't have a problem.

We stayed there in October and it varied. Sometimes we shared a bus w/the other All Star resorts and sometimes we didn't. From some parks on return they were shared, but mostly they were just for Movies. I didn't think the wait was particularly bad, but I did notice that they were way shorter if you went to the bus stop early in the morning (like to get to the park before opening). I think we only had to wait for the second bus to come (meaning everyone didn't fit when the first one came) once they entire 7 days we were there. Hope this helps~ Have lots of fun!

Most every time we've stayed there we shared with the other AS resorts. It never was a bother until one night when it poured rain. However, I would still stay @AS anytime. There always seems to be a bus waiting or on the way.

Never a problem for me.

Rarely did they share a bus and if they did, I still always got a seat. No big deal.

i have a question....we are staying at ASMovies next month and have never stayed at a value resort before. Is ASMo the last to get picked up on the way out to the parks and the last to be dropped off or is this entirely inaccurate? Thanks so much!

Leaving the parks (esp MK) at closing can be a problem.The lines are long...

Kind of the same thing, do the buses pick up Sports, Music & then Movies? Or vice versa?

at the parks if they share a bus, it would be just 1 line for the all star buses, then it would be the last to drop off. if you leave after events, fireworks etc they ususally have there own buses to each in the evening. If it is in the day or earlier, then they will share.
My problem was in the mornings if you did not get out early. We ususally get to the buses around 9am and if we miss the bus, the next was ususally 20min wait, even if there was still alot of people in line for the next one. You would think the drivers would call the transportation system and have them send the next. we stayed ASMu and one day going to MK the bus was filled, not one seat left, and they still made a stop to the other AS? They only picked up a handful of people to stand, but there was no need for that. The other locations still had a full waiting line for another bus, so i have no idea why the driver did not go directly to the park, when the bus was fun. That was my biggest complaint all week.

The lines are long after Wishes for all resorts, not just the All Stars. The lines are also long at Epcot after Illuminations and at DHS after Fantasmic, too.

Yes you share with the other all stars.I thought the bus system was better here than at CBR.I was also there during Pop warner, and though the busses were sometimes full, I thought the waits were reasonable and the kids were well behaved.

It's not true that you always share the bus. I've stayed at ASMo twice and in those two times (and we were completely dependent upon buses) I think we only rode a bus that stopped at the other All Stars maybe 4 times total.
