How is the ban on smoking in the parks and stroller limits going, or am I allowed to ask.?

It was such a big deal just a little while ago, before Star Wars discussions.
I was just wondering if it is going without a glitch with the no smoking in the parks, and the smokers having to exit the parks to smoke in a designated area? I was also wondering how the ban on certain sizes of strollers and wagons is working?
Moderators, if this is not allowed please just delete it. thanks

Smoking ban was an abject failure (in my opinion). We got stuck in a 2 hour Jungle Cruise line last week with someone right in front of us vaping most of that time. I have asthma and should not have been subjected to it. Of course, deep into those switchbacks, there's no way to get to a CM to even say something.

I know that could have happened before the ban, but I have to think more are doing things like that since their only allowable alternative is to exit the park.

Vaping is an issue everywhere that smoking is banned. I work at an MLB stadium and people try to get away with vaping.

I think it would be difficult to stop vaping. People can be so sneaky with it; hiding it in their palm, etc.
I was wondering how the smokers were doing with this ban too? I've seen nothing on it since it was started. Nor have I seen anything about the wagon/strollers. Just curious.

Yes, but I kind of expected that to happen. I'm not a smoker, but my brother is a heavy smoker and he could not last that long, so he wouldn't go to WDW. I expect there will be those who sneak a smoke wherever they want to.

Our trip last week was 4 days and saw 4-5 smokers/people vaping etc. really obnoxious because instead of being able to avoid them and the smoking section it was usually in a crowd...

XL strollers/wagons don’t seem to be an issue transition wise but I am glad the wagons are gone they just felt more obnoxious then say a double stroller even if they were similar sizing. I always felt it was the canopy that was so disruptive on the wagons being so big versus a stroller canopy that only covers part and is ”foldable” not the actual wagons.

This past week I saw a LOT more vaping than I have ever seen before. I even complained to a CM about someone who was vaping ahead of my family on the buzz FP line. All they did was told him to put it away.

I would far prefer to provide a smoking area. More people would follow the rules if they make them easier to follow.

People are still smoking in the parks. At Epcot right now and a husband and wife left their tween kids to hang out on their ECV while they went along the water side (between the two front shops you know) and tried to hide behind one of the pillars while they smoked. Saw Cast Member after Cast member just walk by and not say anything.

I also happen to see a family using a selfie stick right in front of Cinderella castle yesterday and not one Cast Member jumped to say anything to them.

I;m really not surprised by all this, actually. I think the CM's are taught to not be confrontational, so they are blind to the activity and do nothing. I agree that dedicated smoking areas inside the parks is better than what they did. I blame Disney for making it so difficult to smoke and thereby causing the smoking all over the parks.
