How is the 4 Day RC cruise to Catalina in March?

Thinking about adding on a quick cruise during a spring break visit to the area. We've done 7 day cruises on RC out of Galveston and LA, but have never done the short 3 or 4 day cruises. I know the ports aren't the most exciting (Catalina and Ensenada), but otherwise is it a nice cruise? Or is it insane with spring break partiers? Any thoughts? Thanks!
