I would love to go to San Antonio and go to the Schlitterbahn. I was curious what else was there and came across Sea World. How does it compare to Orlando? Is there enough difference that it would be worth going to?

thanks!

I've been to both, but not to Orlando since they got the new ride.

However, I much prefer San Antonio! It has a wonderful waterpark with slides, and several *WOW* rollercoasters!!!

But the best part is the Shamu arena is H*U*G*E compared with Florida,,,in fact all the mammal arenas here are larger. :Pinkbounc

I'm not sure where you're from or if you've been to San Antonio before, but you might also look at Fiesta Texas for something else to do. And the Riverwalk is really neat, too. Sorry, I can't compare Sea World's for you.

I haven't been to SW Orlando, but I do really like SW SA. I think if you're a SW fan, you'd really like it. :)

Fiesta Texas is a Six Flags theme park that started out independant with some really cute theming. I haven't been since Six Flags took over, but before they did I thought it was very cute, and I've heard a lot of people say it's one of the better Six Flags parks. If you're looking for shows and thrills, Fiesta Texas would be a good option.

I also *love* the Riverwalk in downtown SA.

And if you're into history, the Alamo is a good visit, and there are a lot of nice historical Spanish missions in the SA area.

Of course, Schlitterbahn is worth the trip by itself. :)
