How is everyone?

Keep hearing on the news about all the snow and accidents from North Carolina and up into New England. Which caused me to start to worry about all my dis friends. Just hoping that everyone is okay and about as safe and comfortable as one can be in these circumstances. We are wet and snowless in N.E. Florida.

OK here - but the 2 hour ride home from work wasn't pretty ( 16 miles)!!!! Then to get home to hear that my neighbors snow blower won't start!!!! SO the whole neighborhood was shoveling snow for the past hour or so!!! Now I have to pack to head down to FLA - got a 7 AM flight!

Rain here in south Ga. 47 with a wind chill...not as bad as up north. Hope all of our friends in the path of this storm are ok.

I just got my cable back!!!

The cable was out all day today, so there was no TV and no Internet. I had to clean my house. But actually, we were lucky. I heard that there were 95,000 people in my county alone without power this morning, and many of them still don't have power now. It's way too cold to be without electricity.

I'll have to check tomorrow after all the ice has melted and see how my trees did. None of them fell on the house, so that's good, but when I look in my backyard, several of my pines are lying down. I really hope they stand back up after all the weight is gone. I had to listen to ice falling off the house all day today. I couldn't believe how loud it was.
