The weather report is a high of 55 degrees with a "few showers."

So, how will you dress?? Shorts, tights, long-sleeve, short-sleeve???

I like running in shorts so much better than tights, but I'm such a wimp when it comes to the cold (who would ever guess I live in Cleveland)?

I'm thinking it will be warm enough for shorts, but might go for a long sleeve shirt, or short sleeve shirt with a jacket I can take off and tie around my waist.

What is everyone's thoughts??

I will be taking multiple options, I need to figure it out once I get there b/c the rain thing if it happens may cause me to be cooler than I like. In that predicted temp I could be comfy in shorts (of the sausage pants variety) & ls. (Here I would have shorts and ss during training, but I am close to car to get ls if needed or jacket) However keep in mind that the temp prediction is for the high and that will occur a bit after we are finished I'm thinking. Probably I will be prepared with layers, and I will wrap the outer after I get started. I am not wogging exactly more walking so my sweat index will be a bit lower, but I do manage to heat up rapidly and will be peeling down as I get moving.

It's always a dilema. :confused3

Also, I'll be taking probably 1 water and of course my waistpack with my cell and camera. I am a Penguin after all! :teeth:

I will be in my pj's.... :sad2: But I will be thinking good thoughts for all of you!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

i was planning on yoga-type pants and long-sleeve t-shirt -- a high of 55 for the day means probably high 30s at the start don't you think? i have the perk of being at home and making last minute decisions, i may wear my zip-up windbreaker if rain is lurking. also -- pack yourself some GU packs if you train with them, last year by the time I reached the 9 mile stop they were long gone -- hopefully it'll be better this year!

oh yea -- i'll most likely have light gloves to start and my fanny pack with cell phone and camera :)

adding after checking weather.com -- 9 a.m. April 1 -- temp of 51 feels like 46

so, maybe my capri yoga-pants :) i may wear shorts, i'll see

I am trying to pack light so I can just do carry-on, but it is hard. I have long pants and a long sleeve dri-fit shirt that I will wear under a t-shirt. I also have gloves, a hat, a hooded sweat jacket, a rain poncho, and a fanny pack for my ID, camera and power bar. My DH saw all the stuff I have set out and asked if I was going for a week! I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rain stays away! See you all soon!

Ok, so I packed everything-- capri yoga pants, running tights, shorts, long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt, sleeveless shirt... everything :-) Now, I'll probably pick the wrong things before I get to the start :-)
