How is EMH (pm) at Epcot handled?

Typically Future World closes at 7pm, while the world showcase dosn't close until 9pm. How is the EMHs handled at Epcot since most (not all) of the rides invloved are in future world. Does Future World close at 7 then reopen from 9-12. Or does Future World simply stay open until 10, and use some sort of wrist band so they know who are resort guests?

Thanks,

Britt

When I was there on Thursday May 12th, an EMH night, most of the Future World attractions stayed open until 9:00 as per the time sheet, then EMH was 9 to 12. Other days, MS, Soarin, Spaceship Earth, TT stayed open until 9:00 while other attractions closed at 7:00.

According to the WDW website, Future World was supposed to close at 7pm on May 12th. The World Showcase on the other hand was scheduled to stay open until 9pm. What you are saying is that that Future World actually stayed open until 9pm (for EVERYONE) as well, then EMH was from 9-12. Correct????

Many don't realize the more popular attractions at FW stay open until 9:00 and do not close at 7:00 even if most of the rest of FW is closed.

Stuff like Mission Space, Test Track, Soarin and other rides stay open until 9... other stuff like the place you can drink soda from different countries closes at 7 (I think).

The timesheet for May 8 to 14, listed the following as open until 9:00 on Thursday, other nights until 7:00:

HISTA
Journey Into Imagination
The Land
Living Seas

The following were open until 9:00 everynight:

MS
Soarin'
Spaceship Earth
Test Track

When we were there a couple of weeks ago, they had signs by specific rides saying they would be open till 9. This seemed to be for all the ones that were EMH rides. In fact it kinda pissed us off that technically that part of the park was closed to all but resort guests and we were still finding long lines on the EMH rides because anyone at all could still ride them.

Last week Future World stayed open til 9. At 7 wrist bands were given out to guests staying on Disney property. Everyone had to show their room key to get a wrist band. World Showcase was open til 9 and closed at it's usual time. You can still use World Showcase to walk to the international gateway at Midnight when the park closes. The boats run til 1 AM on EMH nights. They do warn you that if you parked in MGM then the last boat from Epcot to MGM will run at 9:30, getting to MGM 1 hour after it's closing time of 9.

They shouldn't allow anyone without a wristband in line after 9:00. EMH starts at 9:00, not 7:00. MS, TT and SE were always open until 9:00 even though the rest of FW closed at 7:00.
