How is Disneyland the week of Halloween?

I know Halloween is on a Friday this year, so there is NO WAY I'll be there on Halloween but I was thinking of going either Tuesday or Wednesday of that week.

Do you think it will be crowded? I know the park hours won't be too long but I plan on leaving a bit early anyway since I plan on taking the metro & then ART.

Last year we went to DL on Tuesday, the day before Halloween, and it wasn't busy. In the late afternoon the Matterhorn had a 3 to 5 minute wait. I remember it well, because we rode the Matterhorn three times in a row.

They shorten the hours when they expect lower crowds. Last year the hours for Tu, W, and Th for the week of Halloween were about as short as the hours ever get. According to this calendar for October 2007, here are the hours from last year:

10/29/07 (Mon)
DL 9a – 9p
DCA 10a – 5p

10/30/07 (Tues)
DL 10a – 8p
DCA 10a – 5p

10/31/07 (Wed)
DL 10a – 8p
DCA 10a – 5p

11/1/07 (Th)
DL 10a – 8p
DCA 10a – 6p

11/2/07 (Fri)
DL 8a – 12M
DCA 10a – 9p

My Magic 8 Ball is a little bit rusty , but I would think that the similar week next October should be about the same, but my experience is fairly limited. The hours for next October (2008) should be available in June.

The parks weren't empty by any means, but waits for most attractions were fairly minimal.....10-15 minutes tops for most popular rides. And of course we used fastpasses, not because we had to, but because we could. The only long wait we had was for Nemo, and that was like a 40 minute wait time.

That's good, I don't really like Nemo anyways. I feel very clausterphobic in there and I'm not usually. Also the glass reflection of the characters makes me dizzy
