How is CA park on a Friday?

We are thinking about spending the majority of our Friday (5/11) at CA. I know that DL attendance usually picks up but what can I expect for CA? The Food and Wine event is going on.........

DLP on Friday day is not that bad, it's in the evening that it starts picking up. Keep in mind it's also Mother's Day weekend so it may be busier than normal but DCA is usually do-able IMO. Could you maybe do DCA in the latter half of the afternoon until closing? (closes at 9 pm that night) then shoot back over to DLP after that. (closes at midnight)
