I've been sending in the post cards for awhile. Today I received an email from newpasses2disney.com saying we're winners for all expense paid ticket for 2 to Orlando's WDW from a "Travel Getaways, Inc.". Is this legit? Anyone have a clue?

I can't say whether or not that is legit, but, it does appear to be 99.99% certain that the email did NOT come from Disney in any way, shape, or form. So, all I can say is, do be careful.

Enjoy the Magic!

If its from the Disney dream team it should come from their offices and either by mail or phonecall.

Did you put your e-mail on the postcards?

Check out the website name by doing a search and see what you come up with.

Whats the link to their website as i can't seem to get it up? Then maybe we can help figure this one out but be careful. I have had a scam similar to this before but when they mentioned money i went no way.

Flashing red lights and bells should be going off for you here.
Call Disney directly and ask them if this has anything to do with them and I am sure they will tell you NO.
At best it is a Time share come on, at worst?????? I hate to think.

I will chime in and say what others have said, be VERY careful. Searches don't bring up anything on either the e-mail you gave or "Travel Getaways Inc." and it is most definitely NOT from the postcards we all have been mailing in. They don't ask for our e-mails on the postcards and they show in the rules that contact will be made by mail or phone. Someone mentioned a possible time share, it could be, as they seem to do this often.

Do you enter other sweepstakes? did you enter to win a trip such as this?
Because these scams happen often, so again, I am not saying they are not legit but saying be very careful. The second they ask you for any info. concerning money/banking/credit card info. you will know for sure it is not a sweepstakes win.

Disney will NOT e-mail you for anything related to the YOMD. What you received is an offer that will come with tons of strings attached. Delete the e-mail and use the standard chanels.
