I asked my dh if wanted to come back on Sat instead of Sunday and he said no.

I was shocked he said he didn't mind paying more. I didn't argue with him.
Aahhh, the secret is out. Your DH is drinking the Disney Kool-Aid too!
Woo Hoo for savings!! That is so awesome!!
I like it anytime anyone is giving me my $ back. Even as SW dollars!
Woot!!! That is GREAT news!!!
Absolutely. How 'bout a dancin' nanner for that:
I love saving money!! WOOT WOOT!! I will be flying SW for the first time in January and I can't wait!! Everyone I talk to seems to really like the airline!
I've never heard of anyone being "Meh" about SW. Most people I know, particularly out of the NE, love it. It doesn't have the seatback TV's and perks like that like Jet Blue or some of the major lines, but the fares are almost always the cheapest on the market and they have an EXCELLENT selection of flight times out of our closest airport.
I actually end up doing most of my shoe shopping online. Thank goodness for Zappos and free return shipping. Shopping in shoe stores just became too futile, although I will say that there is more out there than there used to be.
I wish for a you a Fairy Shoemother!
And there was much rejoicing in the land.
Like this.
Though I maintain it looks more like that guy is doing jumping jacks.
The prices now for my flights are actually MORE than they were when I booked them. Though....I suppose that could be considered savings in a backwards-thinking kinda way, right?!
Backwards-thinking = Fuzzy Disney Math
I am not a shoe fanatic but I do love my DSW. Rarely walk out of there without a couple of purchases.....
BF currently has opened a restraining order against me on behalf of my wallet and DSW.
And. Your mother. OMG she does look young. But even worse. She's turning 50 this year?!?! Most of my friends are 50+. I'm not 50 quite yet, but I am obviously old enough to be your mother. And I am just a little bit horrified about that.

I am always forgetting how old I am. It stinks
Oh honey you are SO not old. My mom was young when she had me. And you
hardly look like you're in your 40's. This is no puffery. I totally would've guessed your 30's. I'll be 31 this year.
Ooh, me too! I had to run out of there. Otherwise, I would've bought them all.
I keep finding myself think about reasons why I simply HAVE to go back to Hallmark.
Tink I was just checking it to be sure that you hadn't received a call from Disney about overbooking at POP. I saw on another thread that they had some kind of computer issue and ended up over-booking 400 rooms or something like that, and were bumping people over the the All Stars.

I't seemed to be happening to people leaving in the next week or so, but I thought of you anyways. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that your fine.
I hope that none of our Dis friends end up over there.
I hope this didn't affect you Tink!
It's my understanding that they can't because the resorts are completely booked. I went online to check because I was curious, and sure enough there wasn't an available room for the week I checked. (Sunday to Sunday). That's a pretty big screw up.
OKW & SSR are booked?!?! Wow!
I know! Isn't that crazy? I was amazed that nothing was coming up as available anywhere.
This issue doesn't affect the week we're there. In fact, POP still has availability for our week. That's why I book so late - kids are back in school and parents are less likely to pull them out when they're only a month or so in. I'm pretty sure we'll be fine.
And, it's my experience, that Disney will do everything in their power to make people happy. If they've advised people of the bump and can't bump them UP in the move and you're very unhappy at check-in, my guess is that they'll find some other way to make it worth your while.
When my grandparents went last year for their 50th wedding anniversary, they ran into a few problems, fairly minor, but ones that did ultimately make it a challenge for my grandfather who, unbeknownst to us at the time, was in major need of a hip replacement. They spoke with a manager who, not only resolved the problem, but also credited them with a night or two of their stay.
The most important thing to remember, even with Disney, is that you attract my bees with honey...wait, is that the saying? Or am I trying to attract flies? Why do I want the bugs around? Anywho, if you're patient and honest I think Disney will do right by you.

CH 13: Man v. Food
I heart Adam. I could see he and BF getting along famously.
Sometimes I wonder if BF wouldn't leave me for Adam. LOL
Does the Junky Apple Fairy make visits to my house too?
Perhaps if you're a good girl between now and 9/25 she will shortly thereafter.
"Let's do the time warp a-gain..."
It's just a jump to the left...
Why do I think we've quoted RHPS on one of my threads before???
And why does that not surprise me???
Picturing this has me ded.
That's because you know ALL about the run-walk. I imagine you could take the gold for the run-walk were it an Olympic event involving the Pirate Tutorial or meet and greets with a certain Cap'n.
Make sure he puts on deodorant that morning, 'kay?
Done and done. And I help him pick out his scents so at least I'm assured for it to be an enjoyable pit-venture.
O.M.G.
Just seeing the lyrics, which then puts the song in my head, which then makes me think of
MNSSHP...
I want to go.
You know I'll be thinking of you.
Hi! Just finished reading through all the pages so far and it sounds like you guys have a great trip planned! Your DBF sounds a looooot like mine, though he is coming around a little more. Just wanted to say hi
Hey welcome! Glad to see a new face round these parts (not that there's anything wrong with the "old" faces).
Hey guys, a question (particularly if there is a Moderator around). Someone was trying to post to my thread (not sure if it was this one or my Rum Runner thread) and it wouldn't let them. They're certainly a veteran with 1,000's of posts, aren't on Ignore or Blocked or anything like that...any ideas why they wouldn't be able to post?
