We have never gone to WDW over abig holiday but this year we are going Wednesday-Monday of Thanksgiving week? What level of craziness are we looking at for line waits, meals, etc? We will be using the DAS which will be helpful. Thanks.

I’ve been at Thanksgiving and was surprised to find it wasn’t bad - I thought Spring Break was worse
I enjoyed being there at Thanksgiving and would go again - I didn’t think the crowds were bad at all - I’ve dealt with worse on weekends at Food & Wine
Enjoy you trip !!!

You will be fine if you just plan for crowds. I've been to the parks at the busiest times ever (think christmas break) and still have an amazing time. Make a plan for each day to hit your must do's... read up on some strategies, use mobile ordering, make ADR's and you will be good to go.

You ask about potential craziness for meals? I hope you've already made your ADRs for any sitdown restaurants you wish to do, because they will be busy. For CS eating, mobile ordering works very well.

Its not that bad. We did Thanksgiving in 2019 pre covid. The main thing was having sit down reservations for lunch. Helps get away from the crowds and relax. Also using fp+ for everything. Of course now its genie+. We would leave the parks for the afternoon during the peak of crowds. And usually go back out at night.

You'll have a good time just remember these:

- have reservations for sit down dining
- use genie +
- allow more time for transportation

We have gone during some Thanksgiving weeks and it has always been crowded but manageable. We always have a great time. We will be there this year barring anything unexpected happening and are really looking forward to it. Hope Genie+ works well. Where are you staying? We will be at CBR from 11/19-11/28.

We live about an hour away and go every year! I think the mornings are easy peasy and the usual rope drop strategy works. It gets a tad crowded in the afternoon, maybe people come to the parks after lunch? I definitely don't think it's insane or feels any different than a busy October Saturday. Evenings empty out again for the most part.

We have been several times over Thanksgiving, and been surprised as it was not nearly as busy as other times in may or October. This year, who knows.
