How important is it to say at HoJo or Candy Cane Inn for a one-nighter?

We're looking for someplace cheap so that we can arrive in the afternoon, swim, head to DTD for dinner, crash, check out and visit the park in the morning. We want to be able to walk to the parks, and obviously have it be a clean/decent place to stay, but certainly won't be in the hotel for too much time. Should we still go with HoJo or Candy Cane, or should I just try for the cheapest I can get within walking distance?

For one night, I doubt it matters, but check prices at Carousel Inn, BW Park Place, Tropicana, and some of the others along that stretch of Harbor.

We usually stay at Carousel Inn as it is very close to the crosswalk to DL! They have a rooftop pool and a small, free breakfast.

^^^I agree - for one night I'll stay at the Ramada or Anaheim Plaza.
