How I used my vouchers and saved $256 on 5 meals

Hi , Just got back from a wonderful Disney trip (and an awful Amtrak ride- but thats another story)
This is how I used my vouchers. We gave the vouchers to the waiter or waitress and asked what we could get. We did not see a bill for the voucher items, I looked up the prices from the menus on Deb's site. Sometimes I ordered additional items and paid for them, but I won't include those items on this list. Boy did we eat well on this trip!!! Prices include tax and tip

Beaches and Cream- 2 vouchers for 2 adults and 2 children
4 soda's (they didn't charge us for the 2 that were not included on the voucher)
double burger and onion rings
chicken sandwich and fries
No way hose
double scoop of chocolate ice cream
$46 total, saved $24

Beaches and Cream- 3 vouchers for 3 Adults and 2 kids
3 sodas
double cheese burger with onion rings
hamburger
chicken sandwich
No way hose
chocolate shake
strawberry sunday
Total $61 saved $27

Teppankyaki -1 adult lunch voucher and 2 childrens vouchers
2 california rolls
shrimp appetizer
2 kids chicken meals
lobster and steak
4 sodas
1 icecream(kids also had ice cream with their kids meal)
Total $81.68 saved $25.68

Rainforest- I gave the vouchers and ask what we could get. The server said we could get adult meals instead of kids meals. The first time I ever heard of this!!! We used 2 kids lunch and 1 adult lunch voucher for 3 adults . The server suggested to pay for the kids meals and use all the vouchers for the 3 adults. OK!

We used these vouchers too in Feb and thought the best deal was at Rain Forest Cafe, but the kid's voucher was only used for kid's meal for the entry portion. My kids are too young and the 4 year old is a little scared of the theming so unfortunately we won't be able to go there for a while.

Was that lunch for Cindy's Royal Table? What type of vouchers did you use? Thanks

Luckytso, Yes that was lunch at Cindy's Royal Table and it was 1 adult kingdom lunch voucher and 2 kids vouchers.

Muffy, I wonder how much those dinner vouchers will be?

I know we lucked out at RFC. We gave the waiter the vouchers and he was the one who told us what we could get.

Bsantis, In a nut shell, the ride down was fine. The ride back was delayed 5 1/2 hours- making our Amtrak ride a total of 30 1/2 hours. More then that was the fact that the attendant did not try to be accomodating at all. We had an electric cooler, portable gamecube system and a dvd player to pass the time, all needed electric. I asked to be near an electric outlet, she said no. Then I saw other people being moved near the outlets, so in short it was possible, but no one would help us. (To top it off, we found out later whe some people got off, that the outlet was 3 rows behide us, I had an extention cord that reached) The employees were not real friendly or anything on the way back. That plus having a couple of strange people that made my kids feel unsafe. I will never take the train again!

Yes you have time. Once you join you can order the vouchers right away. If you order more than $50 worth of vouchers they will send them via UPS and you should get them in 48-72 hours.

Another questain, what is the age for children? My 12 year old usually eats of the kids menue at rainforest and she still does not eat it all. Can she still order off kids menue with kids voucher or should I just pay for hers.

what are the best places to use quick and casual vouchers? We're staying at CBR. I've read that Beaches and Cream and Coronado Springs are good deals. Are they very far from CBR?
