Oh, lots of Disney in our house!

Right when you walk in the living room.... some snowglobes, 2 display cases of Vinylmations - pictures of kids all over taken at WDW.
Also a ton of Disney Precious Moments dolls.... probably about 30 scattered around the living room/dining room.... a shelf full in the den, bunch in the girls' room.

Plush Chef MIckey is dangling down from my curtains above my kitchen sink... Stitch cookie jar.... fridge is plastered with photos of kids at WDW.

I know there is more... but that's what all comes to mind for the moment!

Uh. I have a kitchen cabinet with about 20 refillable drink mugs. Does that count? :rotfl:

Robo that Main St Cinema absolutely ROCKS!:thumbsup2 Well done sir:earsboy:

OK:

LOTS of Disney Stuffies (kids of course:thumbsup2)
disney dish clothes
mickey head cutlery
disney photos all over our living room from last trip
mickey purse
favorite is large print in our bathroom "Wish you were here" of Mickey and Minnie on Poly Beach:thumbsup2

Ok here we go. Bedroom is the Boardwalk Inn- got a comforter, curtain, and throw pillows when they refurbished two years ago. Living room, hallways, and spare bedroom all Larry Dotson prints plus a boardwalk villas pic that looks like our view at the inn, and an oil painting of the Boardwalk I had someone do. Kitchen and upstairs bathroom all Disney. Downstairs ride posters in frames hanging all over, Mickey quilts and rugs, and knick knacks from the parks like popcorn buckets on the bar. Yep, anything to make it feel closer. Spray sunscreen sometimes and do the new plunger trick-not used of course-for the Spaceship Earth smell of Rome burning. Gotta love it:)

This thread is giving me lots of ideas for stuff to buy this year !! Never too late to start !

Just subbing to this thread, great collections. Keep the photos coming, great ideas. :goodvibes

:santa:

Kids bought me a Mickey head wreath a few years back from disney store. Through the Magic of ebay...I added about 30 figurines too it...everything from the Mouse himself, to Buzz, to Cinderella to captain jack...

set

Hope you are able to post a photo, sounds cool.:goodvibes

Thanks everyone for the pictures...they are all so awesome :goodvibes. My house is Disney-fied too. I have 4 Thomas KinKade Disney paintings (Cinderella's Castle, Cinderella scene, Bambi scene, and Snow White scene), my Christmas tree is mostly Disney, I have a Mickey Plate and a Winnie the Pooh Plate sitting on my hutch, Mickey kitchenware in my kitchen, Disney throws everywhere (the ones you purchase with purchase), my kids drink out of our refillable mugs all the time, my coffee mugs are all Disney (have to get at least one everytime we are there), I have the Mickey, Goofy, and Minnie Garden statues that I bought from last year's F&G festival and then I have the Bambi, Thumper, Owl, Flower, and a Welcome rock with Mickey etched into it from the prior year's F&G Festival, and then 2 curio cabinets jammed packed full of Disney collectables, plus Disney picture frames all over my house that have memories of our trips past. I don't have an actual room that is just Disney, but I do have a nice collection of things for when I do end up getting one....I just need to get a bigger house first :rotfl:.

Great thread! ::MickeyMo

I have a:
1) Black Pearl ship on my desk.
2) A Mickey Mouse dressed as Indiana Jones figure on my desk.
3) Mickey Mouse as Jack Sparrow soft toy on my bed (even though i'm 26).
4) Quite a few Aribbas Brothers figurines.
4) Captain Jacks compass.
5) and quite a few picture frames. :goodvibes

Here's my "Mickey Room." The artwork above the bed is actually the plates mounted on fabric canvases.

Does anyone know if those plates are still available anywhere? I found the mouse ears silhouette on the disney store, but none of the other ones. I love how they look framed like that and would like to re-create if possible!

Yup - much to DH's dismay, the Disneyana has creeped into every room of the house. At Christmas it's ridiculous (but I love it).

Here's my bedroom and bath

We have a ruffly, blue & white tropical Mickey bed set for summer.

In the hallway upstairs, we have the old theatrical poster that my DH used to buy for me from my local theater. He made the frames himself. In the 101 dalmatians one, he encrypted our names and the names of our children in the spots. :lovestruc

I wish I had a place to display all my kitchen stuff, but as it is, I've got to pare down what I've got out now. :sad1:

Here's my DBIL "helping" me make Christmas cookies (didn't have a photo of that side of the kitchen).

I'm actually in the planning stages of a refurb right now. I want to paint the dark wood light blue to match the cabinets and make the yellow white. I have a beautiful set of tiles that I want to put up over the cooktop and I'd love to reface the cubbards. We put an addition on the house a few years ago and haven't fixed the affected walls in the laundry room or kitchen yet, but we're working on it (slowly...)

I feel bad for my DH, I have definitely Disney-fied our home:

Living room-Walt Disney World Throw 60" x 42" (cost us over $600 to frame) is hanging over my fireplace.
Kitchen-Disney towels, canister sets, trivet, spoon rest.
Dinette-Disney salt and paper shakers, and a coaster holder being used as a napkin holder. Also a large hand-made wreath in red, black, and yellow with car antenna toppers in it. Soon to be hung the Ratatouille sign DH made me for my birthday.
Daughters room-Tropical theme with Caribbean beach resort photo.
Sons room-Not Disney theme, but holds quite a few Donald Ducks.
Main Bathroom-All Finding Nemo.
Master bedroom-Beauty and the Beast tea set, photos, globes.
Master bath-Different Beauty and the Beast tea set, $1,000 frame from gift card order earlier this year, couple more globes.
Library-This is auto themed, so the only Disney thing here is picture of DH and certificate from WDW Speedway when he drove a race car.

Through out the house we have Disney photos, etc. My home sounds riducilous, but it was done tastefully.
