How has Carsland affected these attractions?

Hi,

We are heading back to CA. My husband has to work in his company's office for a few weeks and our son and I are tagging along. This will be our second trip, having gone the first time last November. Of course, Disneyland/DCA are on the list of things to do again. Carsland was not open during our last visit, Pirates of the Caribbean was closed for refurb, the Haunted Mansion was decorated for Christmas (we want to see it in its original state) and it was too cold for Grizzly River Rapids. We are WDW vets and feel so lucky to have had these opportunities to experience Walt's park. It has been a lifelong dream of mine. Not to mention, we loved Southern California and have much more we want to explore. Needless to say, we are so thrilled to be coming back.

So...getting to the question at hand. For those who have been to DCA since the Carsland opening...how has this affected the wait times for attractions like Toy Story Mania, Soarin' and Tower of Terror? I've been wondering about this and thought I'd ask. Also, if you have any tips for touring Carsland successfully, I'm all ears. pixiedust:

That's my concern too.
I've been watching wait times for rides in both parks on Mousewait app on my smartphone. The waits for HM and Pirates seems to be pretty short...15-30 mins.
Calif screamin has been an average of 45 mins
Soarin 90 mins, TOT 75 mins
Seems like the usual Summer time waits, we'll just be diligent about getting fastpasses
