How hard is it to get FastPasses at the 30 day window?

We are going to Disney in 50 days so I am trying to get and idea of what rides and times I should get fastpasses. I have Touringplans so I have made plans through it. I am just worried I will not be able to get the times I want. What are the chances I can get fastpasses for Elsa & Anna?

Allpink, I just bought Touringplans last week...how do you make plans throught it?

Our first day at WDW is 5 weeks from today....and staying offsite, I can't make any FP+ ressie until this Thursday at midnight. I am concerned that we won't get what we want...and I think E&A are totally gone by the time the 30 day mark comes, at least for a busy time like President's Day Week.

So how can I use Touringplans to maximize by trip planning????

Chances for Elsa and Anna are low. Most everything else should be ok though mine train might be tricky.

You make your calendar by choosing the days you will be going. Once you have done that go to your dashboard and it will show your vacation. You can then make your touring plan by choosing what attractions you want and then you can hit optimize. It will then arrange it for least wait and walking.

Crowds will be light to moderate the first week of March, so you should be fine. This is more a problem during really busy periods.

I got online at midnight 30 days out to reserve Elsa/Anna and there was no availability. :( I was bummed. But as others suggested, I checked back randomly as often as I could and guess what?? An availability popped up three days later! Yay!!!! People do reschedule their fastpasses all the time so don't lose hope if you don't get them. Sending pixie dust your way!

Depends on when you are going. The other day I got Anna & Elsa and Toy Story Mania ...... for next week - literally one week out. And there were times available all day to choose from. We also got Fantasy Parade, Illuminations, Garden Grill and Sci Fi Dine in.

When i went the end of September, I managed to get a mine train FP literally the day before I was going to be in the park, so as long as your options are open and you're flexible, you should be fine.

Getting a fp+ for A&E is not as hard as you think. Only go for one res at a time and keep trying every day. People cancel every day. You just have to be persistent. Once you score one then keep trying if you want more.

Another variable that should be mentioned - the size of your party. For instance, the week after Labor Day was empty last year. The first half of that week I was in WDW with a party of 5. We were not able to get FP+ for the next day for our entire party at the same time on the mine trains ride. There were plenty of options for parties of 1 or 2, but not 3 or more. This is probably the slowest week of the year. So the size of your party matters when booking closer to your date in the park.

I was able to get A & E FP during the day while we were in the park. It just came up as a suggestion when I was trying to change another FP. Just keep trying until you are successful.

mine train is considerably easier to get recently. Ive been able to book the mine train for a day trip during the week before. It used to be impossible a few months ago. I don't know if they are just offering more FP's or what, but it shouldn't be an issue at 30 days.
