How hard is it to get a same day FP+ for wishes?

Title says it all! We will have a full set of extra magic bands (because of a split stay) that I want to use to make same day FP+ for experiences. I currently have a wishes FP+ booked at 60 days out, but I'm wondering if I should use it for something that is more likely to be unavailable same day. Thoughts?

When are you going? There is speculation right now that they might be discontinuing Wishes FPs in April as part of the staff cutbacks coming up.

I've already got one for April 10th, so I guess it's possible that they could cancel it and send me a notice, but as of right now, there are FP+ available for wishes for the duration of my trip which goes a little further into april than that.

Then you're fine. I think the date when they appear to start being unavailable is around 4/19.

I'm a little confused because I didn't think you could use MB's linked to yourself for SDFP (except for additional FP after your original 3). It would need to be linked to a dummy person or a dummy account to be used for same day.

Or am I reading your question wrong?

You can make a 4th FP+ (SDFP) after you've used your first 3 that day.
If you use that 4th FP+, you can book a 5th, etc.

But, directly to your point...

The OP, having an "extra set" of MB due to a split stay, will NOT allow booking of additional sets of SDFP.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. I'm semi-new to all this but I've been doing tons of research here lately (you may or may not have noticed...lol).
